Visit from Newry Mourne and Down Chairman Charlie Casey

Today , Gaelscoil na mBeann had a visit from Charlie Casey, Chairman of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, along with Irish Language Development Officer, Daria Ní Fháolain to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of our school.  The pupils sang for the visitors in Irish before being presented with gifts from the Major.  Mr Casey also presented the school with a beautiful crystal vase to mark this special occasion.
