Upcoming Strike Action

The Education Authority (EA) has warned of expected disruption to school services as a result of industrial action notified by teaching and non-teaching unions. This includes the strike action communicated to you which will take place on Thursday 18th January as well as strike action as follows:

• Thursday 1st February beginning 00.01am and continuing up to Friday 2nd February when the action
will conclude at 23.59pm (2-day full day strike action).

The EA is working with schools, youth services and partners to minimise any disruption to children and
young people caused by the industrial action. However, despite this, there will be disruption to some
services.
