Notice about Road works

As you will no doubt be aware, road works have commenced on the Newcastle road between the school and Ballymartin. It is likely that this will cause some disruption to pick up times for all pupils in Gaelscoil agus Naíscoil na mBeann as well as pupils of St Columban's PS. In an attempt to reduce congestion on school grounds, we ask that where possible, children walk or cycle to school or use the school bus services. Where using the car is unavoidable, please drive and park considerately in school grounds and adhere to our 5m.p.h. speed limit on site with particular care around pick up times of children in St Columban's Learning Support Unit. All staff are aware of the road works and of possible delays so please do not panic if you are running late.

We are awaiting further clarification on the impacts of the road closures planned for 10th February onwards and will share this information with you, our school community, as and when we receive it.
