Dyslexia Awareness Week 04/10/21-10/10/21

Dyslexia Awareness Week begins today, 04/10/21- 10/10/21. This is a time to celebrate and raise awareness of Dyslexia and the strategies and resources available to assist children with Dyslexia and literacy difficulties.

On this Thursday, 7th October, 2021, the children of Gaelscoil na mBeann are asked to wear something red to promote Dyslexia Awareness. All children should wear their full school uniform but the red item may be a pair of socks, a hat, gloves or even a hairband or ribbon in their hair. We will be discussing Dyslexia Awareness with all classes this week and celebrating our differences and what makes us individuals, as well as highlighting the resources available to assist them both in school and at home.
